Metso and Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. have signed an agreement on a complete gold ore processing plant for the phase II of the Soğut project in Bilecik province in Türkiye. The value of the order is approximately €70 million. Equipment orders under the agreement will be booked in Metso’s Minerals segment’s orders received once the contracts are effective. This is expected to take place in December 2024 or January 2025.
The Soğut plant will feature, for example, Metso’s Nordwheeler jaw crushing unit, Select SAG and ball mills, TankCell flotation cells in different sizes, HRT High Rate Thickening units and Larox PF pressure filters, as well as slurry pumps and gold room equipment. The delivery also includes a Courier 8X SL analyser, PSI particle size analysers and samplers as well as the Proscon automation system. In addition, Metso will deliver complete plant engineering and advisory services for installation, commissioning, and training.
