Calgary Women in Energy (CWiE) is looking to expand into Edmonton and surrounding areas. As the energy capital of Canada, we acknowledge the immense talent and potential of women in this industry, aspiring to create a supportive and empowering community for them in Edmonton. CWiE has been a driving force in promoting gender diversity and inclusion in the energy sector since its establishment in Calgary. By expanding our reach to Edmonton, we aim to provide a platform for women to connect, learn, and grow both personally and professionally. Our chapter will host a diverse array of networking events, professional development workshops, and mentorship opportunities tailored to the unique needs and interests of women in the energy field. Through these initiatives, our goal is to foster meaningful connections, facilitate knowledge exchange, and empower women to assume leadership roles within the industry.
