We saw XPENG sales increase 54% in November. We saw NIO sales increase 29%. We saw BYD sales increase 67% (to more than 500,000 in November). But Zeekr’s got them all beat. Zeekr’s sales were 106% higher in November 2024 than they were in November 2023.
Zeekr reached 27,011 sales in November. Across 12 months (one year), 27,011 sales a month would be 324,132 sales a year, quite a big achievement, especially for what is still a super young company.
In actuality, across the first 11 months of 2024, Zeekr delivered 194,933 vehicles to customers. It’s not nearly as many as the extrapolated number above. However, that’s still a big number for a company founded 3 years ago. Those 194,933 deliveries were up 85% year over year compared to the first 11 months of 2023.
In total, Zeekr reached 391,566 cumulative deliveries by the end of November.
As noted recently, Zeekr is taking over Lynk & Co, fellow EV subsidiary of Geely Automotive.
“ZEEKR aims to create a fully integrated user ecosystem with innovation as a standard. ZEEKR utilizes Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) and develops its own battery technologies, battery management systems, electric motor technologies, and electric vehicle supply chains. ZEEKR’s value is equality, diversity, and sustainability. Its ambition is to become a true mobility solution provider,” the company notes.
“ZEEKR operates its R&D centers and design studios in Ningbo, Hangzhou, Gothenburg, and Shanghai and boasts state-of-the-art facilities and world-class expertise. Since ZEEKR began delivering vehicles in October 2021, the brand has developed a diversified product portfolio that primarily includes the ZEEKR 001, a luxury shooting brake; the ZEEKR 001 FR, a hyper-performing electric shooting brake; the ZEEKR 009, a pure electric luxury MPV; the ZEEKR 009 Grand, a four-seat ultra-luxury flagship MPV; the ZEEKR X, a compact SUV; the ZEEKR 7X, a premium electric five-seater SUV; the ZEEKR MIX; and an upscale sedan model. ZEEKR has announced plans to sell vehicles in global markets, and has an ambitious roll-out plan over the next 5 years to satisfy the rapidly expanding global EV demand.”
Rapid growth, impressive releases of new models, and ambitious plans for the next few years — ZEEKR is truly off to an impressive start.
